Winter season means more time inside and when you’re a mom, you want to keep your little ones busy and enjoying their time at home.
A common way to do this is to encourage them to make crafts – easy winter crafts so the kids will be motivated to create as they know they can succeed in making these things.
So, here are various crafts related to the winter season that I’m sure your kids will enjoy. Pick one that’s appropriate for their age, and include that in your to-do list for them this winter.

1. Fingerprint Winter Trees
When winter comes it’s always snow that comes to mind. And trees covered with snow is just the thing!
You will need cardboard rolls for this, but I think those empty paper towel rolls will be just fine.
2. Paper Roll Snowman
Here’s another wonderful craft your kids can make from empty paper towel rolls – colorful Snowman!
Oh, let them create these. I’m sure they’ll love playing with these! And you can also have some as additional decors for the winter season.
3. Snowman Painted Rocks
Here’s another Snowman project using rocks. And since the rocks are small, these look like mini-Snowmen.
4. Snowflake Wand
Snowflakes are a thing during the winter season. And you just can’t let this season pass without a snowflake craft!
So, here’s one that the kids will definitely love – snowflake wands. They can play with these, and you can make some for decor too!
5. Beaded Snowflakes
Here’s another snowflakes craft, this time with beads, and it looks pretty too! You can use different colors for each snowflake.

Oh, I love this snowy owl – so cute! Gather some pinecones nearby and let the kids make this adorable creature!

Oh, hot cocoa is just so delicious during the cold days. If your kids love cocoa too, well, let that love ripple to a paper craft!

I’ve seen lots of Snowman crafts. But a melting snowman? Not that much. So this one really caught my attention.

Oh, these are perfect for decorations. Let your kids see when they’re finished on how these ornaments add beauty to your home. They’ll like it even more!

Use a snowman and winter animals like penguin and polar bear to design empty tin cans and transform them into desk organizers for your kids’ room.

Let the kids enjoy playing with a pop up and here’s a pop-up polar bear. Isn’t it colorful? And the polar bear really stands out here.

Brighten up the cold season with these frozen ice suncatchers. Take the kids out for a while and hang these suncatchers. These will be very interesting to look at when the sun comes.

Make little winter trees from pipe cleaners. It’s super easy to make! You simply twist the pipe cleaners around a pointed object. The kids can then include these in their winter toys, and you can use some for home decor too!

Do you like snow globes? Here’s one using a mason jar. Let your kids enjoy watching the glitters settle. It’s like they’re watching snow in a miniature winter world.

This is an incredible idea to make use of bubble wraps in your home. Use it to create a snow effect on a tree.

If your kids love painting, they will definitely enjoy this project! I like this too because it’s full of green colors. You will love the color green alpine trees covered with snow.

Your toddlers will surely like this as this is a very simple paper craft. You can even turn this into a gift card which your kids can give to family members during the holiday season.
24. Pipe Cleaner Icicles
Here’s another winter craft using pipe cleaners. Use blue and white both for beads and the pipe cleaners to get the icicle colors.
Then you simply insert the beads on the pipe cleaner, then twist it around your finger. Spread it out and that’s it! You’re done!
25. Painting on Snow
How about painting on real snow?
If you’re up to it, bring some snow indoors and let your kids color it with paint!
Learning should be fun!
And that’s what these winter crafts are for – for the kids to learn while having fun. While they’re crafting, they are actually learning to be creative, and their imagination is being powered up. And that is something we want to give them as their parents.
